What happens between submission, community voting, and launch.
New markets start as proposals. Trading opens only after the market receives enough community votes and moves live.
Minimum creator bet is 420 WBASED. Your creator bet becomes the first trade at activation. If a market is rejected, the creator bet is forfeited. If it is canceled before activation, it is refunded.
The standard 2.0% trading fee also applies to that first trade. The fee split for that market is then locked in when trading opens, including the creator/platform/staker allocation and recipient addresses.
If you want the full routing breakdown, start with Where the 2.0% fee goes and How to claim creator fees.
Fixed Date markets keep the calendar time you selected. Once the market goes live, users can trade until the trading close time and the market then moves into resolution.
Exact-date markets still need the classic 72-hour minimum between launch and resolution.
If community voting finishes too late and fewer than 72 hours remain, choose a later date and resubmit. Flexible Duration markets can instead move into the next valid launch window automatically.
